Community
At Lady Askari, we are passionate about community development and our aim is to improve the living conditions in all the communities in which we work. Some of the ways we develop our communities include prioritizing the hiring of local talent, providing free training and capacity building initiatives for the community members.
Lady Askari Mentorship Program
As part of our efforts to build capacity amongst women within the security industry, Lady Askari is developing a mentorship program. Often times, women in the security industry don’t have other women to lean on for career mentorship. It has been proven that mentorship programs have many benefits for both mentors and mentees. Mentees can benefit by gaining real life advice, expanding their network, increased accountability to reach career goals and much more. Mentors can gain additional management experience; improved inter-generational communication skills; access to new talent; and, most importantly, the opportunity to give back to the community and help shape the future of the security industry.

Self Defense Training
Women are oftentimes seen as weak and therefore, they are victimized. Lady Askari wants to create a society where women feel confident and safe to live and thrive. The Lady Askari self defense training intends to teach women practical techniques on how to deal with threats that may arise. With every self defense training, participants will get security awareness training as well.
